Biomec has installed more than 75 laboratories in universities and rehabilitation centers, contributing to the development of this area in Latin America.
In parallel to working at Biomec, Francesco Paez (founder) was a professor of Biomechanics from 2008 to 2009 at the Universidad de Los Andes, in the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, to medical students and students from different engineering branches interested in Biomedical Engineering. From 2009 to 2015, he taught the course in Sports Biomechanics in the postgraduate program in Sports Medicine at the Universidad el Bosque.
Always following the field of technology, in 201 O he founded Ortomec, a company specialized in the manufacture of custom insoles made with high technology.
