BIOGAIT is a Gait Laboratory based on Artificial Intelligence with Neural Networks that calculates human body gait kinematics without the need for markers on the joints. It belongs to the BioLab family, alongside BIOPOSTURE (postural analysis), BIOBIKE (cycling), BIORUN (running), BIOFREE (free movement), and BIOTRACK (motion capture).

How It Works

AI-Driven Joint Recognition

Through an ingenious Artificial Intelligence algorithm, Neural Networks, and more than 18 years of experience understanding clinicians’ needs, we built a system that recognizes the human body in motion in small spaces — indoors or outdoors — calculates its joint centers, and automatically builds customized gait reports supported by digital video. This makes the evaluator’s work dramatically easier, more intuitive, and more flexible than conventional gait labs.

What Is the Purpose of BIOGAIT?

To democratize gait analysis worldwide by making it accessible to any clinician or institution. Gait laboratories have historically been hard to obtain due to high cost, large space requirements, complex importation and installation, and the scarcity of specialists who know how to read gait reports and engineers to operate them. With BIOGAIT all these obstacles disappear — gait analysis becomes a routine measurement in any consulting room and can be performed directly by the physician or physiotherapist.

Space Requirements

BIOGAIT requires a minimum free area of 4.60 x 2.50 meters (about 15 x 8 ft) and can be located in any consulting room or rehabilitation area. No particular lighting or electrical requirements.
