Why Running Analysis Matters

Train Smarter, Reduce Injuries, Run Faster

The exponential growth of runners and road racing over the past decade has led many athletes to train without technical guidance — causing overtraining injuries, poor foot strike patterns, and incorrect form. A structured running analysis protects the athlete throughout their running career by identifying and correcting biomechanical issues before they become injuries.

The Protocol

What a Running Analysis Session Looks Like

A structured six-step protocol designed to deliver actionable feedback in a single session.

1. Warm-Up

A few minutes of running at moderate pace to prepare the athlete and calibrate the system.

2. Baseline Measurements

Multiple one-minute recordings at paces below, at, and above the athlete’s cruise and target speeds — without any intervention or form correction. Not a fitness test — a set of biomechanical measurements near race pace.

3. Specialist Review

A working session with our biomechanics specialists to identify technical anomalies and map out how to correct them.

4. Corrected Measurements

New recordings implementing the correction suggestions, to verify that the biomechanical parameters actually improve with the proposed changes.

5. Report & Video Delivery

A full report including video and photo comparisons of technique before and after corrections, plus a written recommendation.

6. Follow-Up (Optional)

Personalized running technique sessions with a specialist, scheduled as needed to reinforce the corrections over time.

The Technology

Markerless 3D Running Analysis

BIORUN 3D System

AI-powered markerless running biomechanics laboratory. Calculates cadence, stride length, foot contact patterns, joint ranges, and trunk inclination automatically from video — no markers, no suit, no sensors.
